“There are things of which I may not speak;
There are dreams that cannot die;
There are thoughts that make the strong heart weak,
And bring a pallor into the cheek,
And a mist before the eye.”
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow-
They were sitting together at the shore for quite sometime. He looked at the sky, while she looked at the sea. There was nothing to say, absolutely nothing.They knew not of what the other was thinking about, but deep down in some little corner of their hearts they wished they did.
The waves and winds rippled in an eerie silence. It was beautiful, perfect. And at that one right moment they turned their gaze towards each other. No tears and no smiles, no questions and no answers, no perceptions and no decisions. One look into the eye, and they knew it was not meant to be.And yet it was perfect, the moment for all the peace that it brought.
More of life unfolds when eyes do the talking. And that is the reason everything falls in place some day or the other.We just have to keep them wide open, sometimes more than our hearts.
